I have a request for a possible new interface. I am about to switch accountants and the new accountant works with all his customers on QuickBooks Online Edition. I called and spoke to support at QuickBooks Online Edition and they told me that their Online Edition is open source and would be able to interface with other software. I will be receiving more information from the Online Edition team in the next few days. I am wondering if this is something you have looked at, or are willing to look at? Thanks!

Yes, QuickBooks Online Edition is "open source" as is all of their products. Do note though that there is still the charges to develop including developers salaries, QuickBooks versions to test with, and the time to do all this.

Before we would proceed with developing an QuickBooks Online Edition interface, we need to determine if we will at minimum break even. To do that, we need to get an idea of how many potential QuickBooks Online Edition interface purchases would be made, and at what license price.
