| In maintenance, it is useful to have a list of parts for every equipment (or unit) to maintain. It will be handsome to be able to view this list of parts en the inventory grid, and more important, in the service grid.

| Hi Marc Please elabortate on how this would be used in your service organization and suggestions for how you see this available in the program, and mainly what it is that you want to accomplish with such a feature. For example, "able to view this list of parts via the inventory grid" - by what means do you see the parts get associated with the unit? - via the unit entry screen or the part entry screen? is there multiple parts per unit? Do parts need to be associated with multiple different units? You also say to make this list available in the "service grid" - The Parts grid in the Service navigation pane does already displays parts selected in workorder items. We do appreciate your suggestions. Do provide details on how your suggestions would be used, possible suggestions on how the feature would be accessed in the program, how you would see it implemented - but mainly what it is that you want to accomplish with this feature - this gives development additional information to understand. Thanks - Joyce

| Hi again: LETS TAKE AN EXEMPLE TO ILLUSTRATE WHAT I MEAN. SAY WE SERVICE TRUCKS FOR SEVERAL CLIENTS. EACH TRUCK IS DEFINED AS A UNIT. EACH TRUCK HAS ITS OWN PARTS (TIRES, FILTERS, ETC). WHEN WE ARE IN THE SERVICE (OR UNIT) GRID SPECIFIC TO ONE TRUCK, WE WOULD LIKE TO SEE AND PICK ITS ASSOCIATED PARTS AND NOT ALL THE PARTS IN THE INVENTORY. To explain what I try to att, "able to view this list of parts via the inventory grid" FORGET THAT PART; IT IS NOT ABSOLUTELY NECESSARY TO SEE WHAT UNITS ARE FOR ONE PART. THE NEED IS MORE TO SEE WHAT PARTS ARE ASSOCIATED TO ONE UNIT. - is there multiple parts per unit? YES (TIRES, FILTERS, ETC) Do parts need to be associated with multiple different units? YES (SAME MODELS USE SAME PARTS...) By what means do you see the parts get associated with the unit? - via the unit entry screen or the part entry screen? THE UNIT ENTRY SCREEN THANKS
