The majority of our application requires us to implement pretty much identical workorders for many different clients. As I understand, I can only copy workorders to the same client. I would like the ability to create a workorder and copy that workorder to a workorder with a different client.

| We would like to see this capability added too. After our Service Coordinator wanted to string me up after having to create 19 identical workorders for the same thing only because a customer has 19 branch offices. I can also see were this would be a benefit in the event of a major recall. Thanks, Bob

| Hi At this time, AyaNova v3 can not "copy" a workorder to another client because of what is pre-loaded by a workorder entry screen for each specific client - for example, when a workorder loads, it loads information about the Contract for that client (the parts discounts, what specific service rates are to be used); what Units are tied to that client; the Client Notes menu option is tied to the specific client selected, etc. Because this information differs between clients, a workorder and/or workorder item can not be copied between clients. In a future release, we want toprovide a new feature of "workorder templates" (as well as quote templates and preventive maintenance templates) A template would allow you to enter in text and preselect drom drop down lists that are not restricted by a contract or units owned by a client. Than when you create a new owrkorder, you could have a choice of using a "default" template, or select a different template. - Joyce

| AyaNova 4 will have not just service workorder templates, but also quote templates and preventive maintenance templates too. And you will be able to set a default Global service workorder template, as well as specify for each client if applicable, as well as specify based on the user logged in.
