I am currently evaluating the software and so far I like it.  I am trying to see if I can customize the reports to my liking, however, I have a couple of questions:

1.)  Can I modify an existing report (specifically the Work Order)?

2.)  Is there a stand-alone report editor I can use to do this?

Yes to both.

All sample report templates can be customized, as well you can create new report templates, as well as download the additional sample report templates and import them that we provide on http://forum.ayanova.com/Forum103-1.aspx

Do go through the AyaNova v3 Manual section (download from http://www.ayanova.com/download.htm ) "Creating Custom Reports" starting page 635 which provides information on how to open an existing report template to customize as well as how to create new, and includes tutorials on doing so.

The Table Of Contents at the beginning of the manual outlines each of the sections of the AyaNova v3 Manual. I do encourage you to go through the manual as it provides detailed information on every feature, as well as tips on use and tutorials.
