[FORUM NOTE: This issue has been addressed in AyaNova 4.2.0.0]

At this time, if you attempt to order a quantity of a partial number (i.e. 0.5 or 0.75) of a part via a purchase order, although it "appears" you van received it into inventory via a PO Receipt, the Part Inventory grid will still show the amount on order, as well the Purchase Order will still show the partial quantity not received, and the PO will still be listed as receiviable via PO Receipts.

At this time, there is no workaround via the AyaNova program.  At this time, the PO will stay on order and will continue to show as selectable for a PO Receipt.

If this has occurred to you, and you would like it resolved manually by us, send the following via direct email to support@ayanova.com :

  • An email identifying your issue - specific PO, specific part, specific partial quantity ordered, date of PO Receipt, any additional information (i.e. was it a Part Request, from what WO# etc)
  • Identify what version of AyaNova in use (from menu Help -> About AyaNova)
  • Identify what configuration in use - local stand-alone; network Firebird, SQL 2000, SQL Server 2005, SQL Express
  • Provide a copy of your ayalog.txt file
  • Provide a suggested date/time when you would like to send a backup copy of your database so that it can be confirmed on our end (be sure to specifiy your time zone)
  • We will confirm with you when to send the backup copy of the database (all users must be out and stayout until database is returned) and AyaNova Administrator username and password; will restore here; will manually edit the database to resolve, will send you back a new backup of the edited database
  • Never ever manually edit a database yourself - there is too much potential of broken links that will result in corruption.

Development will be reviewing this issue to prevent this from occurring in a future maintenance release for 4.
