This issue appears to be tied to the report template having been originally created with an older AyaNova 3.x version, and the latest printing controls that AyaNova 6 uses is not able to work with them.

Whereas if a new copy of the report template is created in AyaNova 5 or 4  (by opening the report template in the designer and selecting Save As) and that copy imported into AyaNova 6, it works fine.

Solution 1:

1. Export the report template to a file as per http://www.ayanova.com/AyaNova6webHelp/exporting_a_report_template.htm
2. Log into an AyaNova 5.1 or 4.2 installation
3. Delete the report template in this AyaNova installation (could be a limited trial)
4. Import the report template into this AyaNova installation
5. Open the report template in the designer, Save As and enter a new name
6. Export the new report template to a file
7. In your AyaNova 6, delete the report template that is giving you the error
8. Import the new report template you just exported that you had Save As

Solution 2:

If you do not have a copy of AyaNova 5 to Save As making a new copy and the report template is customized from the original, do the following:

1. Export the report template to a file as per http://www.ayanova.com/AyaNova6webHelp/exporting_a_report_template.htm
2. Zip using WinZip
3. Attach to an email to support@ayanova.com also providing the error message that you receive and what the original sample name of the report template was before you directly edited it (so that when we try to import it here, we know which sample report template to delete first so we can import yours)
4. We will import your report templates into AyaNova 5, Save As a new copy, and then export to a file and send back.
5. You will delete the report templates via the Report Templates grid in the Administration pane that give you the error
6. And you will import the new copies of the report templates sent back to you.

**NOTE**If you are upgrading to AyaNova 6 from a previous AyaNova version, you will not experience this issue if your custom report templates are copies of the original samples - as when customizing a report template it is always recommended to make a copy of the original and customize the copy

Solution 3:

1. Download the zip file for either AyaNova or AyaNova Lite
2. Extract using WinZip to a temporary folder on your computer
3. View the Report Templates grid in the Administration navigation pane
4. Import each of the report templates that you will use (see the Help file section http://www.ayanova.com/AyaNova6webHelp/importing_a_report_template.htm on how to import a report template)
5. Test the report template by then going to that section of AyaNova and selecting
6. Suggestion is to delete the report templates listed below as they will result in the error message above
