After applying your AyaNova license keycode, receive a message when attempt to create or edit a workorder

Example of the issue:

You have entered in your AyaNovaActivation keycode that is for less than 5 users.

You log back in, and attempt to create or edit a workorder

You receive a message such as:

LICENSE VIOLATION

AyaNova has detected an attempt to circumvent AyaNova licensing.

This database is licensed for 1 scheduleable users
Currently there are 4 scheduleable users active.

All AyaNova accounts other than Manager have been suspended until
the extra scheduleable users that are not licensed are
set inactive, removed or changed to non-scheduleable users
to bring this database back into license compliance.

Directly editing the AyaNova database can lead to lost or damaged data
Please ensure no one tampers with the AyaNova database in future.

Solution:

As the message states, the AyaNova v3 database is licensed for 1 user only (you might be licensed for 1 to 4 users). But as you still have the trial data, there are still 4 or less scheduleable users active and you are prevented from creating workorders until this is resolved.

As outlined in the AyaNova v3 Activation key instructions:

  • delete all existing data by logging into AyaNova as manager, select menu Help -> License -> select Erase entire AyaNova database

  • OR manually edit all workorders, quotes and PM’s to unselect schedulable usersso that you can set theschedulable users to inactive leaving only the number of schedulable users active that you have licenses for

  • OR delete all workorders, quotes and PM’s that are scheduled with otherschedulable users, so that you can set theschedulable users to inactive leaving only the number of schedulable users active that you have licenses for
