What to do if you lose your database?

Below is brief outline of what to do if you lose your AyaNova database. Please refer to the AyaNova v3 Manual section “Backup & Recovery” for comprehensive details starting on page 578

It’s bound to happen sometime - your server’s hard drive bites it, there’s a fire in your office, someone breaks in and steals your computers -> something happens that you lose your data including the AyaNova database.

What do you do?

PRIOR TO ANYTHING: Because you realize how much time and money it would cost to lose your data and have to re-enter it manually, as well as the cost of lost customer service history, unbilled items, etc, you have been backing up the AyaNova database on a regular basis and taking the backup tapes/CD/DVD’s off-site every day.
