AyaNovaDP installation and configuration on Vista:
Set up IIS6 Management Compatibility, install the setup file, set to use Classic.NET AppPool
In Windows Vista, open Control Panel and then click Programs and Features.
In the right pane, click Turn Windows features on or off.The Windows Features dialog box opens.
Select the Internet Information Services check box.
Double-click (or expand) Web Management Tools, double-click IIS 6 Management Compatibility, and then select the IIS 6 Metabase and IIS 6 Configuration Compatibility check box.
Click OK to start the IIS and ASP.NET installation process. (this might take several minutes)
Now install AyaNovaDP using the AyaNovaDPSetup.msi installation file
Open IIS Manager
Select the AyaNovaDP folder and right-click, selecting Convert to Application
Once converted to an application, select the AyaNovaDP folder and edit Advanced Settings.
Change the Application Pool to use Classic.NET AppPool instead of DefaultAppPool
Restart IIS 7
And continue with steps for DP such as editing the Web.config etc
Also note, even if logged in with full rights, you may find that you need to turn off UAC (User Access Control) to be able to install the AyaNova Data Portal 3.3.3.0 or higher.
