Object reference not set to an instance of an object

I have just upgraded to, all is good except when a work order is opened a message “Object reference not set to an instance of an object.” is displayed and Ayanova shuts down. This happens on the server and networked pc’s. What have I done wrong here.


Sounds like something funky happened with the update.

  1. Make sure all users stay out of AyaNova

  2. make sure any other AyaNova related programs are shut down (Generator, WBI, etc)

  3. Restore the database from the backup you made prior to the update

  4. Log in as the AyaNova Administrator - confirm now able to open workorders, and then allow users back in and start other AyaNova related programs again.

Thanks Joyce, uninstalled everything and started again, now its all good

Could you clarify - did un-installing the AyaNova 3.4 program and re-installing fix the issue; or did restoring from backup; or both?
