Is there anyway around this? I have 10 and I hate having to scroll to see the last tech. Is there anyway to change the width on the columns and avoid scrolling?

No, sorry, the default is 9 and can not be changed.

What would be suggested is to create Scheduleable User Groups so that only the specific techs that you need to view are showing, this way you can view less then 9 on your Schedule screen at a time.
