Scenarios:
**Testing your report templates with a sample trial AyaNova 7 before upgrading, you receive the below error message with a specific report template:
**Upgraded from an older version of AyaNova or downloaded an older sample report template, you receive the below error message with a specific report template:
Could not load file or assembly ‘DevExpress.XtraPrinting.v10.2, Version=1.12.5.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=79868b8147b5eae4’ or one of its dependencies. The located assembly’s manifest definition does not match the assembly reference. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x80131040)
If you receive this message - no need to freak out. It just means that this report template was originally created with an older version of the report template designer, and its just not playing nicely with the newest report designer.
There are two ways to resolve - check them all out and do which works best for you:
Solution 1:
- If the report template you get the error with one of the report templates listed below, then download the zip file AyaNova7replacementsummaryReportTemplates.zip:
Replacement report template files include:
Sample Billable Grouped By Client with Details and Total
Sample Total Billable Grouped By Client
Sample Unit History Report
Sample Purchase Order Receipts Summary
Sample Purchase Order Receipts Detailed (access from within PO Receipt entry screen)
Sample Part Inventory Adjustments Detailed (access from within the Adjustment entry screen)
Sample Units Avery 5160 labels

If issue is with the Sample Meter Reading Report With Difference than download the AyaNova 7 Sample Meter Reading Report With Difference

Extract using WinZip to a temporary folder on your computer

If you encounter the message above for a report, go to the Report Templates grid in the Administration navigation pane and import as needed

Import each of the report templates that you will use (see the Help file section https://www.ayanova.com/AyaNova7webHelp/index.html?importing_a_report_template.htm on how to import a report template)

Test the report template by then going to that section of AyaNova and selecting

Delete the old report template via the Report Templates grid as no longer needed
Solution 2:
- Log into your original older version (i.e. 3.6 or 4.2 or 5.1 or 6.6) and open the report template in the Report Template Designer.
- Select File -> Save As -> save the report template with a new name
- Exit out of the Report Template Designer
- Move to the Administration navigation pane, to the Report Templates grid, click on the original report template (not the just saved one) to open to its window
- Delete the original report template
- Export the newly saved report template to a file as per https://www.ayanova.com/AyaNova7webHelp/index.html?exporting_a_report_template.htm
- Log into your AyaNova 7 that you are testing before upgrading
- Import your customized report template into your testing AyaNova 7
- Test and confirm now is successful in opening.
