Scheduling, labor line

Is there a way to add a schedule line in a work order without it automatically creating a labor line of 1 hr? Or is there a way to set it to 0 if it must create the line?

Thanks,

Hi Terry, not quite sure I understand what you mean in what circumstances - so listing below all you might be, I think.

If for example, you create a new workorder item via the Schedule screen (select a time range, click on New Service Workorder), the new workorder for the client selected will open to the Scheduled Users section of the workorder entry screen showing the Scheduled User with that date and time range just selected. It does not automatically create a labor item.

Same thing if you create a new workorder with a Scheduled User from, for example, the Service navigation pane. When you create a new Scheduled User record in the workorder item, it does not automatically create a Labor record.

Or do you mean, you are actually creating a Labor record, not a Scheduled User record? If so, when you create a new Labor record, AyaNova will default enter for you based on what you have set in the Global Settings for Scheduled / Labor Default Minutes

For example, if you have 60 in that Global Settings field, when you create a new Labor record, AyaNova will pre-enter for you with a stop date/time 60 minutes from now, and 1 (for one hour) in the Quantity field.

If instead you have 90 in that Global Settings field, when you create a new Labor record, AyaNova will pre-enter for you with a stop date/time90 minutes from now, and 1.5 (for one and a halfhours) in the Quantity field.

If instead you have 0 in that Globel Settings field, when you create a new Labor record, AyaNova will pre-enter no start or stop date/time and the Quantity field will have 0 in it.

Don’t forget if editing Global Settings, to save, exit out, and log back in before its changes are applied.
