Are the options in the Vendor Type drop down menu able to be edited?

Yes, you can use the Localization Text Designer to edit.
All labels in AyaNova can be localized to display in different languages and/or to display a completely different label text.
I would suggest
- reviewing the Help section http://www.ayanova.com/AyaNova7webHelp/localized_text_designer.htm about the Localized Text Designer
- and then follow along with the tutorial http://www.ayanova.com/AyaNova7webHelp/customize_an_existing_locale.htm so that you become familar with the four major steps.
- Then once you become familiar, then you can edit one or more of the following five vendor types to display what text you want:
Vendor.Label.VendorType.ThirdPartyRepair
Vendor.Label.VendorType.Manufacturer
Vendor.Label.VendorType.Shipper
Vendor.Label.VendorType.SubContractor
Vendor.Label.VendorType.Wholesaler
Do note though that in some areas, only certain Vendor Types will display. For example, in the Outside Service drop down field that is presently labeled Ship Via: only vendors of the Vendor Type of Shipper will display. So if you relabel what is called Shipper, do note that still only those vendors of that type will show in that field.
