AyaNova 4 Contract Expiry Date in client must be set for contract settings to apply in workorder

[NOTE: AyaNova 4.1 and higher will now automatically place an expiry date of 2099 if a contract is selected and no specific expiry date is entered by you - so the files referred to in this topic is no longer required and the link has been removed]

For contract settings to be applied to a workorder for a client, the Contract Expiry Date must be set in the client’s entry screen.

If you had in AyaNova 3 contracts selected in your client entry screens, but had not entered a contract expiry date, you can perform the following which will automatically edit all clients with contracts to a default Contract Expiry Date of year 2100 UTC and will automatically edit all head offices that have clients assigned to them (in client screen, that head office is selected) that have contracts to a default Contract Expiry Date of year 2100 UTC

  1. Download UpdateContracts.zip

  2. Extract to the AyaNova 4 program folder

  3. Make sure no one else is accessing the AyaNova 4 database

  4. Run the UpdateContracts.exe utility

  5. Log in as the AyaNova Administrator

  6. When it is completely it will display a dialogue box identifying the number of clients edited and the number of head offices edited. Click OK and it will close.

  7. You can now log into your AyaNova 4, and check that those clients have an expiry date set now. And in workroders for those clients, the contract settings will now be applied.

[NOTE: AyaNova 4.1 and higher will now automatically place an expiry date of 2099 if a contract is selected and no specific expiry date is entered by you - so the files referred to in this topic is no longer required and the link has been removed]
