Ayanova WBI 7.2.0.0 fails when I try to edit workorder

Hi. I am editing a workorder in WBI. Everything seems to work ok, except if I press Labor and then Edit work order(the little pencil). Then it crashes with following informations. This happens every time.
We have never used it because of this, but we are going to in the near future. What to do?
Thanks in advance.

Hello, this must be a frustrating experiencing an issue for all this time. Thank you for providing details and context so together we can resolve as soon as possible!
I have done a search and have not seen this specific error message before to provide a specific solution.
But based on your great details, I would highly recommend that WBI be fully uninstalled and then installed again as it may be something with specific file or files.

  1. First confirm that you ARE using the latest version of AyaNova (compare to the version on our Download web page)
If not, do update to the latest AyaNova following the steps outlined.
  2. Once confirmed are using the latest AyaNova, then uninstall WBI, confirm no files left behind after the installation (there should not be, but better to check just to be sure), reboot, download the latest WBI setup file and install WBI again starting http://www.ayanova.com/WBI7webhelp/wbi_server_installation.htm

Please post back your steps and the result (either here or directly to support@ayanova.com)

Hello - was hoping to hear back that you removed, rebooted and reinstalled WBI (which does not affect your database at all), testing as outlined and now works fully and successfully?

This happens to us also.
What we have found is that this is a sequence or procedure error.
If you hit the green + button at the bottom of the screen, then hit the little pencil, it will crash with that alarm.
You are already in adding/edit mode when you hit the green + button. You should close this first before trying to edit with the pencil.
It gets a little confusing on a tablet because the screen size is smaller.
Hope this helps.
