**Fixed in 6.3** date/time display offset for Override Timezone issue and dataportal

[Forum Note: Issue resolved with version 6.3.0.0]

These two 6.2 replacement files fix the following two issues:

  1. The notification message that the user receives for subscription Close By Date passed will now include displaying the date/time of the Close By Date based on that user’s Override Time setting in their user entry screen instead of based on the server’s own time zone where the Generator is running.

For example:
the server is physically located in California the Generator is also at PST
Close By Date when a user also in PST time views is April 6 1PM
But a user that has a Override Timezone setting of 1 (which means GMT +1) will see that same workorder’s Close By Date displayed as 9PM
And now with this fix, that user with the Override Timezone setting of 1 will also have in the notification message they receive also state the Close By Date as 9PM instead of 1PM

  1. Previously if a user logged in via a dataportal connection, and has a workorder with 2 workorder items, and they worked in the second listed workorder item, when they clicked on the Save, the workorder would “jump” its focus to the first workorder item. With this replacement file, this no longer happens - now works same as with regular AyaNova connection and stays viewing on the second workorder item when click Save.

Steps to replace:

Make sure you are using version 6.2.0.0

Download the zip file April12replacement6.2.0.0.zip (download no longer provided - upgrade to latest version 6)

Shut down Generator on the server

Replace both files AyaNova.exe and GZTW.AyaNova.BLL.dll in the AyaNova program folder C:\Program Files\Ground Zero Tech-Works Inc\AyaNova

New files will be:

  • AyaNova.exe dated April 12 2010
  • GZTW.AyaNova.BLL.dll dated April 7 2010

Start the Generator again

Replace the two files on all computers running AyaNova, including any users running data portal connection.
