iis

hello again

can you help me configure iis on my computer so i can use the data portal?

also can i use the same port that i already have forwarded foraras? right now i type www.allendalemachinery.com:1006 andaras comes up, will this be siumilar with the new ayanova?

i installed iis and was able to intall the data portal successfully, i have a problem with the port due to a new firewall recently installed. i tried using the aras port but i get forbidden as if i was trying to logon onto aras. i guess i have to reserve another port on my internet server?

Yes, you can’t share a single port. Choose a new port for the data portal, open it up on theexternal firewall (and the windows one on the server if applicable, normally you wouldn’t run two firewalls, but it sounds like you are so check it to besure)to the IIS server computer and set your IIS dataportal to use that port. Then in your remote AyaNova.exe.Config make sure you specify that port in your connection string as per the manual.
