Is there a way to batch print completed work orders to PDF or other format for attaching to emails later?

Is there a way to batch print completed work orders to PDF or other format for attaching to emails later?

Instead of opening each work order and clicking Detailed completed work order.

Thanks,

Eric

To printany of the workorder reports available from within the workorder screen, you do need to open up the indivdual workorder and select the workorder report to print as you state.

What may be suggested is to create a custom report based on the Detailed Completed Workorder report and query and make it availablefrom the Reports screen that would allow you to select criteria such as the client, date range of a certain date (either workorder creation date, labor start date, etc), workorder status, etc and print previewout all work orders that meet the criteria and internal query. This does make a single file though - so doesn’t neccessarily meet the ability of indivdual reports for attachment to different emails.

All reports that come standard with AyaNova can be customized, as well new reports can be created using Crystal Reports 9 or higher and a database development application that allows you to open a JET 4.0 database and create and test queries - such as Access 2000SP1 or higher.

A list of the report files for customizing can be found in the AyaNova Manual section “Customizing Reports” starting on page 242. A tutorial on creating a report for use with AyaNova is found within the AyaNova Manual section “Customizing Reports” starting on page 242.

If you are not familiar with Crystal Reports or do not have Crystal Reports, you can contact one of the developers listed on our Local Services web page http://www.ayanova.com/local_services.htm or search the Internet for Crystal Reports developers or check for local Crystal Reports developers in your area. The Crystal Reports developers listed on our Local Services web page are familiar with creating and customizing reports for use with AyaNova, and have done so for other companies needing this service.

The next version of AyaNova that we will be releasing will have a completely new interface so that you can “batch” print directly from the list of workorders. We will be notifiying all AyaNova CE users when AyaNova 3 is released.
