I have generic parts that I use and change the description on the fly. I can only enter one line for the description and would like to be able do enter multiple lines for the description.
I have followed “Word wrap - Changing a text data field to display as entered into the AyaNova program” but this does not work for the parts description.

I believe perhaps there is a misunderstanding of what that forum topic is for.
The forum topic “Word wrap - Changing a text data field to display as entered into the AyaNova program”:" shows how to customized a report template to display an existing multiline field such as the Service Details field with multiple lines instead of the actual text data running together.
The Desciption field in the service workorder entry screen’s Parts subsection is a single line 254 character field, and this format can not be changed.
The Service Notes field (in workorder items) and the Service Details field (in a Labor record) are examples of fields that are specifically formated to enter in multiple lines up to 60000+ characters
