Program Shutdown

Can you make Aya shutdown in a more controlled fashion rather then just a straight closure. An example of this would be when hitting the ‘X’ to close the program, confirmation (a second prompt) of that closure would be nice. As well this is a big problem is anything throws an error… bam program vanishes without prompt of any form really, other then a DB error window with limited information and control of the programs next step.

Hello Fouralarm

Can you make Aya shutdown in a more controlled fashion rather then just a straight closure. An example of this would be when hitting the ‘X’ to close the program, confirmation (a second prompt) of that closure would be nice.

AyaNova in its initial conception used to have such an Exit where it would require acceptance of a second confirmation to close, and we received a vast majority of service companies using AyaNova asking us to remove as it required the extra confirmation and extra step. This second confirmation was removed many many versions ago.

As well this is a big problem is anything throws an error… bam program vanishes without prompt of any form really, other then a DB error window with limited information and control of the programs next step.

If you receive a message dialogue box that has the menu options of Ignore or Abort, and you select Abort OR you click on the X in the upper right hand corner, both those are you telling the AyaNova program to shut down immediately (i.e. to abort).
Whereas if you select Ignore, then that gives you another chance to resolve what the issue was, and/or shut down the way you want.
