*Project Name on POs now in AyaNova 5*

I’d like to be able to have our project name on at the item level on the PO. I’d even settle for having the project name on the PO as a whole.

This allows the accounting department to see from a printed PO who the item has been purchased for. I also have some suppliers that require project name on the PO for their own installation tracking.

Hi Brad

If a PO is made as a result of a part request via a workorder, the workorder number and the user who requested the part in the workorder is displayed on the part row in the PO.

Thank you for your suggestion. As with all suggestions entered in the Wish List, being able to select a specific project within the PO and/or on every part selection item within the PO will be reviewed for future inclusion.

A suggestion for nowmay be that when creating a PO, if the purchase order is for a specific client, you can select the client in the drop down selection field presently labeled as Drop Ship To Client.

Do note that you can localize what is presently labeled as Drop Ship To Client to what better suits you - for example, you might localize that label to instead just state “Who PO Is For”.

Refer to the AyaNova v3 Manual sections “Localized Text Designer” page 459 and “TUTORIAL: Localizing Field Descriptions in a Service Workorder” page 226 for an overview of creating custom locales, and editing what displays in text labels.

It would be the PurchaseOrder.Label.DropShipToClientID key in the locale that would be edited.
