Is there any way to make it so Ayanova will use next invoice number in Peach or leave the invoice number blank? This using the WO for the invoice number isn’t flying with our accounting people and they would prefer a null invoice number because then in Peachthey can just run a report of unprinted invoices.

QuickBook’s SDK allows the optional add-on QBI to automatically identify what the next QuickBooks invoice number is and use it for the invoice initiated by QBI.
Whereas PeachTree itself does not allow a third party add-on such as PTI to know what the next invoice number should be. Therefore we have worked around this by coding PTIto use the AyaNova workorder number as the PeachTreeinvoice number as an invoice via a third party add-on such as PTI needs the invoice created to have an invoice number so that it can be identified as having been invoiced out. It is not possible for PTI to invoice out AyaNova workorders without providing an invoice number - so the workorder number was chosen as the most logical choice as in PeachTree you can easily see what workorder the invoice is for.
So basically it’d be a wishlist item to set it as NULL or add a new field for setting an invoice starting number, etc. something along those lines?

I can certainly move this to the WishList, but do note that PeachTree itself does not provide the ability for PTI to determine what the next invoice number is - it’s not us. So until Peachtree provides that ability, we would not be able to provide it in PTI.
As I have said, this has been moved to the Wish List, and we will look into the ability to set a preference to not have any invoice number in the PeachTree invoice and subsequently no invoice number in AyaNova. Do note that if this option is taken if the feature is provided, you won’t be able to confirm what PeachTree invoice the workorder was billed out to because you have told PTI to not use an invoice number, so it would be at your discretion
Actually isn’t it a wish list for PTI?
I’dlike the option for PTI to NOT fill out an invoice number in Peachtree and Ayanova. There shouldn’t be any SDK restrictions or restrictions from Ayanova for this to occur. It would simply be that Ayanova wouldn’t have the Invoice number filled out. Seeing as this may occur for a lot of people anyway it shouldn’t be that big a deal as an option.
