Issue:
Had installed AyaNova on a 64bit computer (your “server”) selecting QBI and the Firebird to SQL Migration utility
When performing step 5 of http://www.ayanova.com/AyaNova7webHelp/network_sql_express_configurat.htm creating the AyaNova SQL database, you receive the following error:
Firebird Connection failed
Check your connection string
Full error was:
An attempt was made to load a program with an incorrect format. (exception from HRESULT: 0x8007000b)
Solution:
Run the AyaNova setup again.
This time UNCHECK the QBI option, leaving the Firebird to SQL Migration utility checkmarked.
Now perform step 5 of http://www.ayanova.com/AyaNova7webHelp/network_sql_express_configurat.htm again
Cause:
QBI installation on a 64bit computer interferes with the server related programs AyaNova Network Generator and the ToMSSQL.exe
Only install QBI onto a computer that does not run either of these “server” related programs.
