What do I need for AyaNova QB 3 version

Hello, we are going to be purchasing AyaNova for the business I work for but we wanted to get the Quickbooks compatible version. What files do I need to download in order to do this? Do I need to download the orgininal software and then the other files under the QB version? I am a bit confused. Also, I we need to run it on 2 computers the one in my home office and then one on the owners computer. I will be the one doing the scheduling but I know the owner will want to have access as well but for now we are not network.

Good to hear.

AyaNova v3.2 is the “main” program, and does need to be installed and operational before installing the optional add-on QBI.

The “main” AyaNova v3.2 program is installed using the AyaNovaSetup.exe file available fromhttp://www.ayanova.com/download.htm

Installation instructions for a network configuration (where you access the shared database from two or more computers) is detailed in the AyaNova v3 Manual section (also download from http://www.ayanova.com/download.htm ) “Installation of AyaNova using Network Firebird Database Server” starting on page 541

The QuickBooks interface QBI v3.2 is an optional add-on to the “main” AyaNova program - and the “main” AyaNova program does have to be installed before installing QBI v3.2

The twofiles to install QBI are QBFC 5.0 and AyaNovaQBISetup.exe andare available on http://www.ayanova.com/qbidownload.htm once you have installed the main AyaNova v3.2 program.

You wouldpurchase AyaNova v3.2 licenses for the number of schedulable users - the number of peopel you will be assigning as scheduled and have performed labor in workorders. Licenses are not based on the number of computers you will run to access the shared database - but the number of schedulable users. So, if for example, you are the only schedulable person, you would only need to purchase one AyaNova v3 Schedulable User license.

And than you would also purchase one QBI v3 license. You only need one QBI license per database, even if you have purchased more than one AyaNova v3.2 schedulable user license - as only one QBI license is needed per database.

AyaNova v3.2 schedulable user licenses are purchased via the link at http://www.ayanova.com/purchase.htm as is QBI v3 .2 license.

Thank you for the information, but can you please explain exactly what you consider a scheduleable user. Is that the person that is actually scheduling the work or the person that does the work themselves. Say I am the office person scheduling calls for our service technician. Do I need a license for each technician or for each person that is scheduling the work like me?

A schedulable user is the person that does the work.

You would need a license for each technician - each of these people that do the work.

You do not need a license for each person that is schedulabing the work like you. You do not need a license to enter in data or to view data in the AyaNova program.
