Please help me gt the program on my computer. I am using the AppVer: 3.1.7.0. The software loads fine on my other computers, but has never started on my dual processor x64 (x86) computer.

It gives methis error AyaNova has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience.

Then it wants to send the following file to Microsoft.

Hi

The latest version of AyaNova is 3.4.0.0

I would recommend that you perform the steps to update to this latest version, replace the AyaNova program files on the networked x64 computer, and then try again

I am assuming that you have configured AyaNova for network use as per the AyaNova v3 Manual “Additional Installation & Configuration” - in that case follow the steps in topic http://forum.ayanova.com/Topic2708-96-1.aspx

This error was reported by one other user and when they replaced the AyaNova program files, AyaNova was able to run successfully.

Do post your result.

If you continue to experience an issue, provide the following information:
-Zip up theAyaNova.exe.config and ayalog.txt files from the server and attach (name this zip file SignManserver.zip)
-Zip up the AyaNova.exe.config and ayalog.txt files from a networked computer that does run successfully and attach (name this zip file SignMannetwork.zip)
-Zip up the AyaNova.exe.config from the x64 computer and attach (name this zip file SingManx64.zip)
-Confirm that you have replaced all AyaNova files on the x64 computer with the latest AyaNova files
-What is the operating system of the x64 ?
-Confirm that all service patches have been applied onto the x64 computer - http://support.microsoft.com

Thank you. The program is now working and loading. However, it will not except my old logon/password or registration number. It was networked and I attempted to follow the network instructions, but it the directions were change the exe.config file back to exe.config???

What should I do?

Hi

If the AyaNova program is running on the x64 computer, but your old AyaNova username and password are not being accepting, it either one of two things:

  1. You are not entering your username and password correctly - AyaNova usernames and passwords are case sensitive - it would be suggested to try again

  2. You did not copy over the edited AyaNova.exe.config file from the original network configuration system to this x64 computer - resulting in not accessing the same AyaNova database as everyone else in the network - and therefore the same usernames and passwords don’t work because it is not the same database.

Sorry, but I do not understand what you mean by “but it the directions were change the exe.config file back to exe.config” and don’t want to give an answer that may be misleading if not what you are actually asking.

If referring to files, always attach the files identifying where they are from so that I can understand.

Zip up theAyaNova.exe.config and ayalog.txt files from the server and attach (name this zip file SignManserver.zip) Zip up the AyaNova.exe.config and ayalog.txt files from a networked computer that does run successfully and attach (name this zip file SignMannetwork.zip) Zip up the AyaNova.exe.config from the x64 computer and attach (name this zip file SingManx64.zip) Confirm that you have replaced all AyaNova files on the x64 computer with the latest AyaNova files
